“When using the air fryer mode, the fan stops blowing after 10 minutes. Why? It shows temp and time countdown but no fan, so it's baking not air frying. I have canceled it and reset for the remaining time and the fan runs.”

Just like a full size oven it has a thermostat that controls Temp. If it stayed on all the time during cooking wether baking or air frying it would not be able to keep the set temp. By turning on and off it allows it to keep the controlled set Temp.
