• yes, it works with Dslr cameras for live streaming. I plugged two together and worked well. Three together didn't work.

• Sort of. USB (Universal Serial Bus) is an interface standard and 3.0 is the version number. Transfer speed and bandwidth are two improvements of USB 3.0 over previous versions. At 5 Gbit/s, the new "SuperSpeed (SS)" transmission rates are something like ten times faster than USB 2.0, and it's full duplex instead of half so there is potentially a 20x increase in bidirectional bandwidth. Other improvements include better power management, bus usage, and rotating media support. USB 3.1 and 3.2 added even faster transfer modes.
