YES, THE IPAD PRO, MACBOOK PRO AND NEWER IPHONES ARE CHARGED VIA A USB-C ADAPTER.

No. This is an android charging cable and will not work with iphones or ipads.

I do not know. The quote I was looking for was to fit my iPad Air fourth generation. I bought this cord and it did not work with my iPad Air I have tried using it in my car. And it came up with an error that the connection was not good. So I did go back to Best Buy and purchase the proper one.
