From what I can gather after looking at your model laptop it doesn't take Type C for charging. So unless you can buy some special cable from amazon or the like that converts Type C from the Insignia brick to the proprietary connector to your laptop I don't think this will be compatible. Your device would need a Type C Input for power a la any android device from the past several years or even iPad Pro's will have the type c for charging and multimedia.
