Stainless steel is SAFER than teflon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The teflon pot works wonderful with this I have not had any issues with it at all. So easy to clean up afterwards
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I love the non stick pot. I bought the stainless one so I can cook another dish more quickly. When one pot it done, I put in the other. Some people own 3 pressure cookers to cook their meals. I don’t intend to be one of those people.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the teflon pot included and suggest you do so as well. DO NOT use metal utensils in this pot or it will get scratched and become not useable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the stainless steel pot too. So far I have not used it. I’ve been very pleased with the non stick pot that came with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Teflon pot that comes with it is fine. Easy to clean.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Teflon is just fine. You can always use another stainless one, but it is not a must
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The std teflon aluminum transfers heat better than the stainless steel pot (instapot or Insignia). The heating surface is only at the bottom and doesn't transfer heat to the side walls. Steam or water is the only way to transfer heat when pressure cooking. The program buttons are worthless because they seam to be timers and not cooking. The stainless is great for brazing/ searing meat compared to the teflon. The stainless can be put in the dishwasher. I would recommend having both. You will have leftovers in the fridge, when you want to use another pot.
