The std teflon aluminum transfers heat better than the stainless steel pot (instapot or Insignia). The heating surface is only at the bottom and doesn't transfer heat to the side walls. Steam or water is the only way to transfer heat when pressure cooking. The program buttons are worthless because they seam to be timers and not cooking.
The stainless is great for brazing/ searing meat compared to the teflon. The stainless can be put in the dishwasher.
I would recommend having both. You will have leftovers in the fridge, when you want to use another pot.
