“I need a replacement cord and basket. Is the cord hard-wired to the freezer, or does it take a special cord? How would I order the basket?”

• The cord is hard wired . And just contact insignia and tell them u need a replacement basket

• The back where the cord goes in has a lattice grate over it. You can unscrew it to get to several things. It is on the bottom left of the freezer. Once in you can replace the cord. You can get the cord and basket from the Insignia website. Call them and they will ship out parts overnight. They will be here in a couple of days.
