A:AnswerYes. But keep in mind that gfci receptacles sometimes trip unexpectedly. If that should happen then your freezer will be off. I would recommend replacing recepticle with a non gfci for any freezer. If you do go ahead with it, just check periodically to make sure it hasn’t tripped.
