A:AnswerI have my dial set around the 3/4 mark or half way between middle and max and I'm getting temps between -10 on the bottom and -7 in the middle and -5 on top.
You shouldn't have to go to max to get the temps i'm getting, but that being said, the freezer will work much better with items in it.
The other thing I was careful to check was that the vent on the side of the freezer had room for a to flow so that the heat from the coils had somewhere to dissipate.
Good luck with it!
A:AnswerHi! This freezer requires a 115 V, 60 Hz power supply. The power cord is equipped with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from this freezer.

A:AnswerYes, this one is manual defrost only. Usually automatic ones costs a lot more and lists "auto-drfrost" in the title or specification. We chose this because this one because of lower price. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas.
