Q: QuestionInsignia chest freezer not getting cold enough. 7 cu ft 2 yr old freezer only getting to 30 degrees looked to see if something needs cleaned but don’t see no coils.it’s inside the house so ambient temp is ok does this need Freon already

Q: QuestionI bought the insignia deep freezer and it is in my garage that is not heated. The temp where I live has been freezing and is currently 20°. I went to get items out tonight which were frozen but wasn't solid. What setting is should it be on?

Q: QuestionI have this freezer in my garage (in Wisconsin). Our winters are pretty cold so I'd like to add a garage heater kit to this unit. Does Insignia make one of these to fit this unit?

Q: QuestionWhat's the best setting for this freezer. There is no temperature on the dial, its just min and max. Appreciate any help with this. Thanks

• A:Answer We keep ours on the setting that is furthest to the right. In a freezer such as this, the minimum is the coldest, whereas the maximum is the warmest (so lower is better). The temperature range is approximately 10F to -24F, if I remember the spec sheet correctly.
