“What are the dimensions of the insert basket and can one buy additional ones?”

• I purchased the basket from the link Insignia provided. It is too long. DON'T BUY.

• The basket inside is made specifically for this freezer and will only fit where its at. If you get one the exact size it will not fit as that area of the freezer was designed specifically to hold that basket. You cant even move it to the opposite as that areas don't have the same dip to hold it, I ordered some off of amazon but it does not fit perfectly like that one that comes with the freezer.
