You just turn the drain at the front left bottom corner of the freezer anticlockwise. That Easy

Garage Ready Chest Freezer, begin by removing all frozen food and placing it in a refrigerator or cooler to keep it safe. Next, turn the thermostat knob to the OFF position and unplug the freezer from the power outlet. Inside the freezer, locate and remove the drain plug. Then, position a shallow pan underneath the external drainage hole to catch the water as the ice melts. Be sure to check the pan periodically to prevent it from overflowing. Once all the ice has melted and the freezer is fully defrosted, clean the interior thoroughly and replace the drain plug. After cleaning, plug the freezer back in and reset the thermostat to your desired setting. Allow the freezer to cool for about an hour before returning the food to the unit. Keith | Insignia Support
