What does convertible freezer mean null

This unit can be set to run either as fridge, OR as freezer (not both at once). I had heard, if the fan inside the box stops, the bottom half stays cold but top half can’t get any cold air, so is warmer.

It is both a freezer and a fridge, depending on what you need.
