There’s no inconsistency here—according to the manual, if you're running the unit in freezer mode (with internal temperatures ranging from -11°F to 10°F), the ambient temperature must stay between 0°F and 110°F. If you're using the unit in refrigerator mode (remember, you can only run this unit as a freezer or fridge), which holds internal temperatures between 30°F and 50°F, the unit must be in an environment where the outside temperature does not drop below 37°F. It all comes down to how the compressor functions and it's needs.
