It’s okay to transport on the side. Just don’t turn it on for 8hrs after setting it back upright.

This product should not be laid on its side during transport. It should stay in the upright position and should not tilt for more than 45° from the upright position. It's also advisable to let your freezer stand upright for more than 30 minutes after transport before connecting it to power.
