No, you cannot get digital audio from the USB port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I connected my sound bar using the HDMI (ARC) port on the TV using a standard HDMI cable. This allows the sound level to be controlled with the tv's remote. It worked great on my first try and easy to connect. The TV also has an Optical digital audio output but requires the correct cable and your sound bar needs to support optical digital.
