It should work great. We use this in a 500 square foot basement with no HVAC and it works great. I believe it could work in a larger space too.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Dave, currently I'm using the Dehumidifier unit ( 70-Pont ) in my basement (unfinished ), the area is about 1300-1400 Sq. Ft. and is doing great job, the setting at 50%. It should work fine in the garage to reduce the humidity but not for cooling your garage.
