• I have yet to experience a power outage with this unit. As for the drain hose, the unit accepts a standard garden hose.

• This takes a standard hose connection. I'm using a piece of 5/8" hose and it has no problem handling the water.

• Will come back on after a power outage. Looks like a garden hose size outlet to me.

• It will need to be restarted if the power goes out. The drain house is the size of a regular garden hose.

• Yes it will turn back on, I just tested it. Standard garden hose screws into the unit.
