“Regarding my previous question about holes in the bottom of the trash can. There are 4 2-inch long open slots in the bottom of the trash can. Why are they there, and why is the bottom not closed with a solid bottom?”

• This is normal, these are vent holes that make it easier to take out the trash bag and prevent the bag from sticking to the walls.

• They are there to keep from holding trash, spills and odor.
