• It does, we connected it from a tablet to the tv and it ddoes work great, try to get a cable that runs from your computer to the tv and you will have to take out a small loan.

• Yes, HDMI standard supports audio so if the device SENDING the signal is also sending audio and the device RECEIVING supports both audio and video then you will get both.

• dvi by design does not support audio. To get this to work, you will need to purchase another converter that splits the audio into auxiliary. For example: Device > HDMI-to-Micro Cable > HDMI Cable > HDMI/Audio Splitter > monitor & speakers
