This is meant for at most small appliances or a tv stand. Electric fireplaces draw significantly too much power for this surge protector.

Please try again later.Okey that shows that your device is working good see it needs to protect from a surge and its doing both ways So now you must rethink that fire place, cause it might becoming an issue or rising up your electric bill, Electric heaters tend to consume a lot of electricity So if i were you i would see what happens with a timeline of electricity consumed by the fireplace to see if it needs like a relay or a new stabilizer which is really different of this only surge outlet protector
