“I have my LG 50 tv and sound box all plugged into a surge strip for about 5 yrs. now I am getting interferences on tv and have noticed a yellow light on the strip is on with the green one. Is this an indication I need a new surge strip?”

I would substitute another adaptor to check; a five year 50 inch (??) TV may have its own issues especially if plasma.Anyway eleimante adaptor as variable first ; check TV display.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From our experience , you probably should go ahead and replace it. Either too many trips on the protector has caused it to weaken or too much running through it. That's always the indicator for us when it's time to be replaced , due to us having so many power surges at our place. (There's always the chance that it's your electrical outlet going out,also, If your surge protector flips. Replace the protector first, if still same issue, may need to call electrician out for the outlet)
