What is needed to charge the portable charger null

Micro Usb Type B. The same cord you use to charge your phone from the portable charger with the inputs flipped. Keep in mind you cannot charge the charger and your device at the same time.

It charges via cable off of a mini-USB charger.

Just a regular micro USB, but it comes with it already albeit a little short but it works.

you need an AC power outlet.
