The price varies from week to week, meaning, when I purchased mine, it was on sale for $3.80, next week it might be $5.00; go online to see if they have it in stock and how much.

Often times, Universities, businesses, etc receive discounts when purchasing items that individuals do not receive. Also, if a University is purchasing parts for their equipment, it may not be covered under personal / individual warranty since it is used commercially. Hope this helps.
