Q: QuestionWhat is the [ Volt rating ] on this Fan?
Asked by Mrdiy.
- A:Answer I've used it on a 12v DC circuit and it works great. My guess is that's it's between 5 and 12 volt tolerant. No problems with it burning out on 12v longterm usage.

Q: QuestionI have a Mac mini 8"x8"x3' Is this fan going to work for it? And does it plug in a USB?
Asked by George.
- A:Answer I don't have a Mac mini, so for that part I am going to say if there is a place for a fan to mount, measure the mounting holes. You can google "case fan mounting hole dimensions" to find the fan that will fit your mounting holes. For this particular fan size, there should be 71.5mm between the screw holes. The fan comes with a connector to plug into a fan port on the motherboard. It also has an adapter to connect the fan to a 4 pin plug of the type used on older hard drives and cd/dvd drives. There is actually a pretty good picture of the adapter and connector on the fan's listing at the Best Buy site.
