Yes, it can and it is cheaper than the instapot glass lid. By at least $10.

I'll say yes. I still have the stainless Instapot insert, even though I took a softball bat to the worthless Instapot. I found my cheap Tatung actually seals.

I don't have an instapot, I had bought it for a 6qt multi pot. So if they're the same dimensions it should. Hope this helps.
