Insignia 9" lid - fits my Instant Pot perfectly
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my 6 quartz Instant Pot. I didn't want to spend too much for the brand name because it's just a lid, so I ordered this one. It is very durable and the quality is nice. It fits my Instant Pot pot perfectly

Does what it needs to
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been thinking sbout getting this for a while. Couldnt pass it up for price. Plus i had so best buy cash that made it half the price. Works great, great fit. I wish the was maybe a little bit of rubber around the rim to give it a nice seal, but thats not a deal breaker. Also wish it was sold in the physical store. But again, its not a deal breaker.

Q: QuestionCan this be used while slow cooking in the multi pot instead of the big heavy cover?
Asked by Susie.
- A:Answer Interesting you should ask. I need to admit first that I returned the Insignia. Does it slow-cook with the glass lid? I BELIEVE so. The important information here is that the instructions give no indication of exactly how the buttons work. I had to do quite a bit of sleuthing to find out anything about the PSI level for any/all of the settings. What I found in my research is that about half of the buttons are actually slow cooker buttons instead of pressure cooker buttons. The unfortunate thing is that I can't tell you which ones are which. If you are an enterprising type that can work through all of the settings to figure out how they work, you might be able to slow cook with the Insignia. One last thing that you didn't ask, but I do want to mention- while there is a rack for use inside the cooker, it is 2in off the floor of the cooker, and the lattice isn't close enough to hold even EGGS. If you were to cook potatoes in it, those would sit on the rack well enough. However, since the cooker is 5 or 6 inches deep, you've lost almost half the space available before you even get started.

Q: QuestionI bought a 6qt insignia pressure cooker.. I am seeing there is a glass lid for that cooker ... my question is if I buy one of those can I cover the pressure cooker while the rice is cooking ... instead of the heavy cover?
Asked by Cindy.
- A:Answer You will need to use the lid that comes with the pressure cooker to cook rice. The glass lid does not allow pressure to build within the pot which is needed for cooking rice.
