• No, I would not recommend using this adapter for your WD MyBook. This adapter only provides 600mA max, which is less than half of the 1.5 Amps that your WD requires.

• When I asked a guy in the store which adapter to get for my Wd My book this is the adapter he told me would work. Turns out it doesn't work because doesn't have enough power sense you need 1.5A and it has 600mA.
