Will this work on an older model IPad? null

It fit my 2012 ipad 3. The box said for iPod, iPhone & iPad. This product will fit the larger pins in your older iPad.

Yes, that was my first thought. How many would I need to buy before I found one that worked. My iPad is five years old this products works fine.
