• I don't have a life case to test ,but it appears to be the same size as original apple charging cable that plugs into phone. so if the old one fits then this one should..

• Yes it should as long as the Lifeproof case has the rubber opening at the base. I found that the only charger plugs that do not fit into the opening of the LifeProof case for my 4s is the Rocketfish Car Charger. I hope this helps.
