As long as it's fitting for the lightning cable and not the 30-pin (MUCH wider, you should have no issues.

If your iPad has a lightening connector, this chord will work. Be sure the charger you plug it into is powerful enough for an iPad.

If it's an Apple product with the Lightning charger it works. We have several generations of iPad and the Air and iPhones 5,5s & 6 and it works great.

Not sure. I doubt it. It would not charge either of the two relatively new devices we tried to use it with. Best Buy is pretty good about exchanges if you want to try it out, though.
