No, but there is a solution. For around $10 you can buy an adapter that plugs in to the bottom of the iPhone 6 and makes it compatible with your old iHome docking station.

As long as there is a USB port you can use this cable it’s very simple it’s just a regular iPhone charger with USB end on the other end

There should be an adaptor but unless the docking station has the same connections as your current I phone an adaptor would be necessary.

Yes, you can. However, you may need to get the Lightning to 30-pin adapter so that you can plug it into your ihome, then your iPhone 5, and you're set.
