“We have charged the batteries however when inserted into the controller the light blinks and then goes off...what are we missing?”

• The light on the charger changes from orange to white when fully charged if it's still not turning on it may be the controller

• Make sure you put the batteries in the charger the correct way. The other possible issue could be that the batteries are no longer any good.

• Make sure controllers are properly synced to console.

• Make sure the batteries are properly placed in, the batteries need to be inserted a certain way for them to work. Sticker side facing left is how it is supposed to be inserted.

• I've had the same problem before. I let the batteries drain completely and didn't charge if for a while. So The battery is no good.
