• Yes, press and hold the shutter button for several seconds until the light blinks red and blue. Put your phone in pairing mode and it should see NS-SSTK2B.

• Use the pairing function on your phone and then hold down the shutter when the phone pairing process begins. It will find it quickly.

• Return it if the light is not shining - so far my remote battery has lasted a long time, but I could imagine that some batteries could die quicker if they just sat on the shelf waiting to sell.
