• No but the stylus and cartridge are upgradable. I updated mine to the Audio-Technica AT-VM95E.

• The tone arm is not detachable, but the moving magnet (MM) cartridge is detachable by tools.

• If you are asking if the cartridge (needle) can be replaced, I imagine so. I've only had it a couple of weeks. Try looking up the owners manual online for cartridge details.
