• 1. Switch power off to the turntable to prevent electric shocks. 2. Pull the plastic mat off and set it aside. 3. Remove the platter. 4. Place the platter upside down on a flat surface. 5. • Check to make sure the belt didn’t come off or break. The platter should not spin too ‘freely’ if the belt is attached. Lift the felt mat and rotate the platter so a viewing window is in the 10-11 o’clock position to see the motor spindle.
