NS-HPBTAA23 is built in battery. While charging by TV USB A power, the power is directly provided by TV power instead of from NS-HPBTAA23 battery. When you want to connect to TV permanently, you need to connect to 3.5mm output and also USB power permanently, and this unit can be worked while charging.
