“Will this work with an ipod touch 6th generation? I've noticed on the ipod touch 6th generation and iphone 5c can use the same charger cord and is this cd player easy to move the volume buttons? Some I've tried is so difficult to turn the knobs”

Unfortunately no, this boombox uses the older 30 pin Apple connection and is not compatible with your iPod.
