• You can place it on the adapter. As well as just simply plug the card itself in the game ; and not the adapter.

• Yes, this has a detachable wall plug. You can use just the wall plug (without the dock) or plug the cord into the dock to stand up your DS while charging. (I own this charger personally)

• The ac plugs right into the charge station then set the game into station to begin charge

• It is an AC adapter. The adapter can plug directly into the machine or into the cradle which holds the machine for charging.
