Official Nintendo Pro Controllers do not have separate batteries, the rechargeable battery is encased in the controller, they come with a cord to connect to the switch to charge. This insignia charger has two usb-c connections that the pro controller's sit on to charge. (Note Controllers with silicone skins do not fit on the charger without pulling skin away from controller, which I suspect will stretch out the skin in time, but am not sure.)
