Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works perfectly for my macbook pro
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's holding my laptop up PERFECTLY, whereas other stands I'd tried either weren't tall enough to allow for airflow, causing my computer to overheat, or were very adjustable but kept falling forwards onto me in bed (where I mostly use my computer because I'm disabled). My laptop weighs about 5 pounds, spans the full width & depth of the riser, a PERFECT fit), and is "front-heavy" (possibly due to the non-gaming-powered Intel graphics). But whereas another stand with fully-adjustable legs and attachable metal mousepad that locked into place (very similar to the one i the FIRST image below purchased for me from a certain online warehouse monopoly that shall not be named! ... as opposed to IN PERSON with help from a knowledgeable Best Buy employee :)) SEEMED like a good idea, once I got all the "joints" arranged perfectly, But it kept falling forwards onto my lap or the bed while that handy, easily removable/switchable metal mousepad pad fell off almost every time I BREATHED on it! (It's in the living room holding up an old computer to use as a TV that doesn't need to be moved.) With THIS new, solid, sleek & simple all-metal stand from Insignia (see second image), my whole computer setup--with the original box the laptop came in (about 3" high) underneath the riser to elevate it to just below eye level if I sit up straight--the whole setup has impressively stayed in perfect balance no matter HOW much I move around/get in and out of bed/adjust the monitor angle since the day my husband brought it home, just about a month ago. Can't fit my legs under it, but If you're just looking for something sturdy to support/elevate your laptop AND allow plenty of ventilation through the cool-metal-top surface (no fan necessary & no BSOD's caused by overheating for me so far, whereas the attached keyboard was getting hot to the touch while sitting on the box alone WITHOUT any games running!), this is the stand for you! Once I get my gaming-compatible laptop up and running, I hope to get another stand just like this, so get 'em while they're cool! ;) So, for sturdy balance and elegant simplicity, I highly recommend this INSIGNIA-brand riser stand (second photo) over the first one I tried (in the first image from "Uncaged Ergonomics" shown below).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It holds the weight of a laptop well enough, but if you're looking to use the keyboard on the laptop itself, it may be too high to use comfortably. It works best if you have a dock for your laptop, with connected keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It holds my 2 into 1 from ASUS just fine. I use it to lift it just enough so I reduce neck strain working from home. It also gives me storage for paperwork just underneath!
