“After the channel scan I started looking at the channels we got. Using the remote I was ch^ till I got to channel 62.6 then everything froze up The remote is completely dead Ann only the power button on the box works? I unplugged it still froze”

You may not need the convert box now since they made all stations transmit inHD if you have a smart TV. Same thing happened to me—and now I have the TV connected to antenna —did channel scan and all works great.
