• Yes, the features built in the tv will be accessible.you will have to use one hdmi port in order to use the converter. Apps like hulu, netflix or the like can be opened while tv is switched to the hdmi channel the converter is connected to. I have had 0 problems with this other than the remote control occasionally changes channel when i actually pressed the volume button.
