“Would you suggest this model? I have a 60 year old B/W TV that appears it could be in working condition (when powered up, screen lights up and audio works). Being of this age, the only input/output are a antenna screw post.”

I believe it will work. I got min on sale. The TV I used has a screw connection as well. Gently open it and if it doesn't work to your satisfaction return it.
