Hello, Lisa! Thank you for your questions regarding our NS-DXA3 Converter box. Please note that the product only converts analog to digital signals coming from an antenna. However, you can connect the PC/Laptop directly to the TV using HDMI/VGA if the TV allows this connections. Hope this information was useful! Alex C.- Insignia Support
