• Yes, 2 batteries and 2 covers. For $24.00 it's the best set you can get. I have two of them for my four controllers. It keeps everything neat and organized because if you attach a 3m hook to the back it will hold your cable when you do not want to charge them.

• It comes with INSIGNIA rechargeable battery packs. They work really well and the charges last a long time. I have yet had to stop playing to charge.

• Not sure. I've checked the packs box instructions and insignia site. None of which mentions the battery type. It does say life decreases to 70% after 500 charges and temp should be 41-86'F I'm guessing liIon
