• Great question. This is the only drawback to it. Is the fact of the PlayStation has to be powered in order for the USB to power the controlling ports?

• It only comes with a USB c cable to plug into the ps5 but you can get a charging block and plug it in to the wall if you want

• You need a usb type c charging block to connect it to the wall. It only comes with a usb type c cord. Which will only let u charge it thru the PS5. Which defeats the purpose really of a charging station.
