Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I've made lots of Grilled Cheese sandwiches in mine, TONS of butter on the outside, perfectly brown & delicious.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.O yes that's the only way to do it, slather butter on the outside of the bread but also a light spray oil on the teflon will help prevent sticking as the maker ages. Mine always come out brown with crispy edges. Dont overfill your sandwich otherwise it will leak out and make cleaning hard and thats where the life expectancy of these makers shortens...once scratched they become harder and harder to prevent sticking and boom you have a half destroyed sandwich as you try to pry it out (use plastic, silicon to get sandwich out)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I always butter the bread side touching the heating element. It browns well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Spray butter Pam on the press , browns up grilled cheese easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I like my sandwiches buttered too, I lightly brushed some butter on top and bottom of the sandwich maker before I put my sandwiches in it, they came out a nice golden-brown color on both sides, and tasted yum. Definitely recommend the butter!
