do these insignia remotes for fire tv have a history of breaking because there seems to be many customers having to buy another remote because i'm assuming their remote that came with the tv broke & does not function anymore? why is that? so many people null

That is what happened with me. I reserve the fact that I may have possibly spilled something on it inadvertantly,so I was hesitant to blame the manufacturer.
