“I have a Toshiba Fire TV Model 43V35KU that the remote quit working on, even with new batteries. Did factory reset per Amazon(don't ever do this). Will this remote get me off the language setup page? Need replacement for model CT-95018.”

UPDATE: This remote DID work for my Toshiba fireTV model 43V35KU! I followed another commenters suggestion of having the TV unplugged, then installing the batteries in this remote, next I plugged in the TV, then I pressed the home button to turn the TV on.....and it worked. My TV came on, I was able to select the language, log into my wifi, and set up my TV as it was before the other remote burnt up and the TV did the factory reset on its own. I am now sitting here watching TV. So while the professionals said No it wouldn't work, I followed the responses to another question here and while I was doubtful, it did work on my factory reset TV. So give it a try, worst case you return it for your money back, best case your Toshiba TV works again!!! I did order a new CT-95018 remote that won't arrive for 2 weeks from a damaged TV shop, and Amazon later said they were sending me a replacement remote also, but I had already bought this one....so I guess I will have back ups! The point is this one DID work for my TV!!!
