Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. That's what I did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you'll need studs. But this mount only requires the use of 1 stud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is tough to answer without knowing the size and weight of the TV you plan to mount. The bigger the TV, the more lateral force is placed on a structure that isn't particularly designed to bear weight off of it. It will come down to using quality drywall mounting hardware...I would got to Lowes and pick up a pack of Toggler brand anchors (avoid the self-drilling anchors).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not recommend mounting on hollow drywall. For safety, you should mount to studs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used drywall anchors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can, but I wouldn't. Depending on the weight of the tv, it'll fall right off the wall leaving holes in the sheetrock and probably broken tv. Safer to find a stud and attach there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't recommend it, but you could with some serious drywall anchors. Get at least 100lb anchors to be safe.
